At TVR we obviously love adverts, in fact these days we think that the adverts are a huge part of the overall viewing experience and just as likely to be talking points with friends, family and colleagues.
We wanted to share some of our favourite ever ads with you and hope you will let us know some of yours #bestads
Guinness - The Surfer
“Tick follows tock follows tick follows……”. Everything about this advert is just effortlessly cool, the intensity builds mirroring the anticipation of waiting for the perfect pint of Guinness. We absolutely love the soundtrack and imagery and wish we looked as good catching a wave on the coast.
Visa - Life flows better
This slick advert has us tapping our toes as we watch Bill Shannon effortlessly navigate his way through the city using a contactless card. If only our daily commutes were really this smooth.

Yorkshire Tea - Everything stops for tea
As a nation of tea drinkers, we fully appreciate the effort that goes into making the perfect cuppa brilliantly summed up by this clever ad from Yorkshire tea. Adverts like this one have helped the brand increase their share in the hugely competitive tea market.
Skoda - Made of lovely stuff
Moving away from the typical commercial of the car whizzing through hairpin bends you can watch this advert for the first 15 seconds without realizing what is being promoted. It aims to bring our association of enjoying homemade cake and layers it with a brand that we may have never considered until we see the badge added to the front of the car.
The choice of great adverts is almost endless, and we’d love to hear what your favourites are. As we have focused here on the big budget ads our next in TVR favourites will be ads on a budget. Keep your eye out.
